She served as the Arts Editor at The Other Press for over three years, where she led a team of contributors and regularly published creative writing and illustrations. Her poetry and song lyrics have been featured in Pearls 39, an anthology of student work at Douglas College, and her poem Bomb Threat was selected as “Poem of the Month” and showcased across both campuses. Sonam’s work explores the intersections of identity, emotion, and observation—balancing clarity with creative depth.
