what up!
my name is Sonam Kaloti.
I’ve been performing since I could walk—toddler me was out here putting on full-length concerts for an audience of five (my sister as in-house stylist, my mom, my dad, and my grandparents, who definitely didn’t sign up for that).
I grew up doing everything creative: Bhangra, Gidha, Indian classical, hip hop, painting, clarinet in concert band, even modeling for a while. I wrote too—poetry, lyrics, stories—and somewhere along the way, I composed two pieces for a Vancouver Symphony Orchestra chamber ensemble. They actually performed them, too. On purpose.
Then came college. I started in Creative Writing because words are kinda my thing, and then took an elective in Music Tech just for fun… big mistake. Now I have a diploma in it. And a Radio Arts and Entertainment diploma. And I’m currently finishing an Associate of Arts degree because apparently, I like collecting credentials like Pokémon cards.
Outside of school, I learned I’m as obsessed with structure as I am with art. I’ve managed creative teams, built workflows from scratch, and coded automation tools—spreadsheets, SOPs, C++ scripts, the whole deal.
Now I work where creativity meets operations: producing audio for film and podcasts, writing, and designing systems that make big ideas actually happen.
(Translation: Work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger.)
I chase the moments when something I made makes someone feel alive. And yes, part of me just wants to prove I can juggle all this without dropping the ball. Stick around—I’m always up to something slightly unhinged.

“I’m a workflow’s fairy godmother—with a synth and a killer style guide.”
